Time and time again, I hear people complain about kitchen items not being dishwasher friendly. And I don’t blame them. After a long night of cooking or hosting, having to wash dishes and glasses by hand is not ideal. I’d much rather sit on the couch with a piece of dessert I was too busy to eat and a glass of wine in my hand. The dishes are in the dishwasher, rather than in the sink. Well, good news! This dream can come true with Made In’s newest tabletop release: glassware.
Made in Italy from crystal glass, Made In’s wine and drinking glasses are dishwasher safe. And this isn’t one of those times when it’s at your own risk. Our glassware has been tried and tested to make sure that you’re getting the best experience and product possible. Our glassware has been washed 4,000 times through an industrial washing cycle, and there was no loss of transparency or brilliance in the glasses. You could use our glassware every night, put it in the dishwasher once you’re done and it would still be at its peak performance. When you put the glassware in the dishwasher, make sure the glasses are stable so they can't be knocked around.
Washing by Hand
Now I understand if there’s hesitation. We’ve all had glassware mishaps in the dishwasher, so if you choose to wash our glasses by hand, go right ahead. Use a tiny bit of soap, some warm water, and make sure to hold them from the base of the bowl. We also recommend washing your glasses low in the sink, so if there’s an off chance that they slip out of your hand (we all know how slippery soap can be), it’s a short fall. And if you can’t get to your glassware right away, you can add water to them and let them sit overnight. This will protect against any staining of the glass. When it comes to drying your glassware, a microfiber cloth is your best friend. This will leave your glass sparkling clean and ready for your next party.
