I've been using the Lodge brush for their Cast Iron cookware, so haven't put the Made In brush to that heavy of use yet same with the chain mail scrubber. That being said, I think both will be amazing when I use them, the brush does have a good grip. I watched the carbon steel seasoning videos which used grape seed oil. I read that the carbon steel griddle was already seasoned but I wanted to do one more round and try the carbon steel seasoning wax. I found it hard to smear a thin coat on the griddle and a bit of paper towel would get stuck on the griddle. To be fair maybe my technique was to blame. I ended up cleaning the wax off, no soap of course.
