To make the world’s best Chef Knife, we started at the site of the world’s first Chef Knife: Thiers, France. Here, 5th-generation bladesmiths forge, temperature shock, chemically harden, and finish each by hand to create an incomparably durable and sharp Knife.  
  
Each full tang and fully forged blade begins with a rod of premium Stainless Steel. From there, it’s forged into a Knife that’s well-balanced, precise, ergonomic, and will stay sharp longer. A water-resistant handle prevents slips and stains, so you can tackle everything from spatchcocking to supreming with ease.
