Highly recommended. — Seth ### ★★★★★ Nice pans I didn't have a 4qt pot before and I got this one because it is the perfect size for any pasta that not long. I think the handles are comfortable. The indent provides a solid grip while holding or tipping the pot. The brushed texture also provides a better grip than my previous polished handles. Good length compared to some other brands. I haven't had them long. -1/4 star because they are a tiny bit thinner than my previous (heat retention probably not noticeable) and the stainless is only stainless before you use it. I did get some pitting and discoloration from the first use including some shadows of the pasta shapes, maybe this will even out over time. I'm not going to barkeeper's friend them every week. A glass lid option would be nice. Also a size smaller than 2qt might be fun. I plan to get a saucier. — Jamie ### ★★★★★ Good Gateway pan I have been on the hunt for “real” pans for quite sometime. I decided to try this pan first, as so many reviews said it serves many purposes. Now I call it my “gateway” pan and I want more! It does indeed serve many purposes. I have cooked one pan meals in it, I have stir fried in it, browned/seared meats in it and cooked eggs. It does them all beautifully. As a flat surface electric stove home, it has taken me a bit to get used to higher heat for nonstick cooking. But that is user error more than anything.
