The Award-Winning Carbon Steel Griddle mimics diner-style flat tops, offering an XL searing surface to maximize direct heat contact (and thus crispy edges). With half the weight/all the durability of cast iron, the Griddle seasons faster, responds quicker, and heats more evenly. This Grill Griddle is our fully-perforated option which optimizes flame-to-food contact for the simplest set-ups, encouraging more char, more sizzle, and even more flavor.

Raised handles and optional Italian leather covers enable ergonomic transport, while sloping sides contain moisture and grease. Our most rugged Cookware, the Griddle is built to traverse between back burner, backyard, and the backwoods. I purchased the entire griddle set for my husband for Father’s Day, and it has been a great hit. He’s used it so far to make tasty smashburgers and I’m looking forward to trying the griddle and cover to speed up the process of making Japanese soufflé pancakes - I think these will be just the right tools for the job. Highly recommend.

After having used the griddle a couple of times, I decided seasoning it would do the surface some favours. The griddle absolutely does not fit in my standard sized oven. I think this would have been a great addition to my kitchen, but since I can't season it to my liking, it's an expensive piece of kit.

### ★★★★☆ Doesn't fit in my full sized oven!

I have always wanted a carbon steel griddle to use across the double burner on my induction cooktop. But in my last house, a pop-up fan blocked the handle at the back of the cooktop, so it was not an option. Now that I am in a new house, I was delighted to see that the measurements of this griddle showed a good fit on my range top. So I bought it. And sure enough, it is a perfect fit on my range cooktop and heats nicely across two burners.

BUT, the instructions say to season the griddle in a 450 degrees oven before using it. That's when I discovered that the griddle does not fin in my full sized oven! Made-In: Stop telling customers to season the griddle in an oven unless you design the griddle to fit in a standard sized oven.
