Crafted in Italy, the Stainless Clad Rondeau is constructed from 5 layers of metals for improved heat conduction and distribution. Because it prevents the hot spots that lead to stuck-on messes, the 5-ply construction also cleans up in seconds.    - "This substance is included in the union list of Food Contact Material Regulation and below respective Standard Migration Limits."
   - "Considering the toxicology data, this substance is considered non-genotoxic."
   - For the Cramer Class's tested (I&III) there was "no safety concern".

### ★★★☆☆ Warped after a few uses over time

It is a nice pan, but warped over time.  I use this about once a month for large stews/soups etc.  However, over time I have noticed that there is a significant warp/bulge in the center of the pan.  I have other similar (albeit smaller) pots and pans from other manufacturers and have not experienced this issue.

### ★★★☆☆ Quality Surveillance Concern

Purchase arrived in very damaged box, fortunately only minor scratches on the product.  Strangely, the unit features made in "ITA" rather than the full name of the country--unlike like the rest of my pots.

There are reviews online of others receiving this product with a similar engraving (which is off - center) expressing that it is a manufacturing mistake, but customer service claimed that it is an intentional change in how the pots are engraved.  I'm not so sure, I'm slightly concerned about the product's manufacturing oversight / quality inspection.

I'm not sure I would but this piece again.

I gotta say that I am so thankful that I purchased the 10qt! I was so worried about it being too big, but ultimately decided on this size because I have a frying pan with a cooking surface of 12",so for me to jump to a 12.75" was no big deal. The bonus was the fact that it was a deeper pan. I've made more food in this pan than all my others, and this was my most recent purchase!
