I love the design of the handles. As others have mentioned, however, the griddle does not fit in my Bosch oven, despite the instructions recommending using the oven for seasoning of the pan (which I do with other carbon steel cookware). While I like the large size, it is also slightly too big for the range, making access to the control buttons on the induction stovetop a little finicky. Finally, the surface is a little rougher than I prefer in carbon steel—more akin to preseason cast iron than French manufactured carbon steel cookware that I am more used to using. Overall, this may indeed work well for others, but ultimately fell short for me. I have always wanted a carbon steel griddle to use across the double burner on my induction cooktop. But in my last house, a pop-up fan blocked the handle at the back of the cooktop, so it was not an option. Now that I am in a new house, I was delighted to see that the measurements of this griddle showed a good fit on my range top. So I bought it. And sure enough, it is a perfect fit on my range cooktop and heats nicely across two burners. BUT, the instructions say to season the griddle in a 450 degrees oven before using it. That's when I discovered that the griddle does not fin in my full sized oven!
