In the Cups Bourbon Punch
A festive, crowd-pleasing, and easy drinker that’s guaranteed to be refilled—probably more than once.
What’s more festive than a serve-yourself punch bowl for holiday parties? Aptly named, this bourbon-fueled punch from Holiday co-owner Erin Ashford is an easy drinker that will surely lead guests to re-filling their cups several times throughout the evening (“In one’s cups” means to overimbibe just a tad). Notes of bitter citrus, warming spices, oak, vanilla, and bright candied fruit create a warming, convivial drink, perfect for bringing everyone together over a toast.

- 1.
Make the honey syrup: Heat honey with 3 oz. water in a small Stainless Saucepan. Stir until dissolved, then remove from heat. Let cool, transfer to a resealable container, and chill until ready to use.
- 2.
Make the punch: Combine bourbon, Campari, blood orange juice, and 1 cup chilled honey syrup in a large Serving Bowl.
- 3.
Stir gently twice with a large spoon. Cover punch and chill until ready to serve.
- 4.
Thinly slice blood orange into wheels and set aside. Cut sprigs of herbs into smaller pieces and set aside.
- 5.
When ready to serve, top punch with sparkling rosé. Stir gently once.
- 6.
Gently float blood orange slices in bowl. Lightly shake sprigs of herbs to prevent loose pieces or leaves, then place in bowl to add color and aromatics.
- 7.
Set out an ice bucket with small tongs for guests to self serve ice in their glasses before pouring punch (this will keep punch fresh and prevent overdiluting).
- 8.
Using a Ladle, fill Wine Glasses with 5–6 oz.of punch.
