The Made In Michelada
This savory beer-based cocktail spices up any brunch.

The michelada is maybe the best known beer cocktail around. The lower-alcohol cousin of the boozy Bloody Mary, it combines beer with zesty Clamato, and spices for a drink that goes down easy, especially on a hot summer day. This recipe is courtesy of our very own Video Editor Erika Limones. Serve in a
rimmed with Tajin for a spicy, salty touch.
dashes Tajín Clásico, or other chile lime seasoning
cup Clamato juice
teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
dashes hot sauce, such as Tabasco, to taste
grinds freshly ground black pepper
pinches kosher salt
beer of your choice, preferably a Mexican lager such as Pacífico or Modelo
Place a few ice cubes in the Beer Glass and add Clamato juice, Worcestershire, hot sauce, pepper, and salt, stirring to chill and combine. Top with the beer and stir. Garnish with remaining lime half.
