Pair smoky mezcal with sweet lime and grilled pineapple for a refreshing take on a margarita.
This cocktail, a spin on a classic Margarita, is easy to make and in our opinion, much more flavorful. Austin-based mixologist Brian Sandahl of Heavy Muddle combines the smoky flavor of mezcal, sweetness from lime and pineapple, to make the perfect drink for a hot summer day. And if you want to make things even better, try throwing your pineapple on the grill to really bring out the smoky mezcal flavor.
