If you’re tired of sweet cocktails, but still want something light and summery, Brian Sandahl of

Heavy Muddle

has the perfect drink for you. This classic aperitivo cocktail combines soda with dry white wine to make a spritzer. A splash of bitter Campari gives the drink a pretty orange hue and some grounding bitterness. The name bicicletta was allegedly inspired by the cafe patrons that would swerve home on their bicycles after an afternoon of drinking these. Though a charming anecdote, please cycle with care.
