I wanted to love it, but it splits so easily. I had one replaced on warranty and it did the same thing. I own multiple Boos & Co blocks so am very familiar with the care required to maintain wood blocks—I consistently wash, dry, and coat with board cream and mineral oil. The Made-In block simply isn’t a good product. While also made of maple, it isn’t finished well (rough), and split along wood seams in multiple places (despite drying after each use, and oiling) after just a month of use.
