Super Bowl Dishes to Make with Your Sheet Pan

A good sheet pan is your friend in many kitchen endeavors. From roasting vegetables to organizing your ingredients, there’s almost no kitchen activity that won’t have you reaching for a sheet pan. Made In’s sheet pans are made from commercial grade aluminum, so they heat and cool quickly, never warp, and look sharp in your kitchen. They also come in two sizes, so for smaller tasks like toasting nuts (and smaller meals for one or two people), you can skip washing a bigger pan. When it comes to sheet pans, though, their highest calling is the sheet pan meal, perfect for serving up a quick weeknight dinner or Super Bowl snacks this February.

Nachos

No one has ever been mad at nachos. Adapt them to you or your family’s preferences by adding crumbled chorizo, shredded chicken, roasted sweet potatoes, canned corn, or anything else that calls to you. Make clean-up even more effortless by lining the pan with aluminum foil, which will save you from having to deal with crispy, stuck-on cheese bits.

Meatball Subs

Pan-seared meatballs can be labor-intensive. Save yourself the effort by pan-roasting your meatballs for a more even texture and much easier cleanup, then add marinara sauce and stuff them into an Italian roll for a perfect handheld meal perfect for the big game. But we’re not done! Top with mozzarella and place your subs under the broiler for the ideal final touch. The edges of the bread will get nice and toasty while the cheese bubbles and melts all over the meatballs.

Oven-Baked Wings

Flats or drumsticks? We believe there is no wrong answer, as long as you prepare them the right way. And all you need to pull off the crispiest oven-baked wings is a sprinkle of baking soda, which helps promote browning. Another tip to achieve that sought-after crunch, it to place the wings in a single layer, uncovered in the refrigerator overnight. Doing this will help the water evaporate from the skin, enabling it to get that crunchy texture. Even if you toss them in your favorite sauce, they will stay crispy.

Pigs in a Blanket

There are so few times when pigs in a blanket are an appropriate meal, and the Super Bowl is undoubtedly one of them. Go semi-homemade by buying pre-made puff pastry and wrapping the hot dogs (or dare we say sausages) at home, or give yourself a break by simply buying the frozen guys. No one will know the difference.

Loaded Potato Skins

Loaded potato skins are all about the texture of the potato skin, so a good sheet pan that conducts heat well and gets them super crispy is a must. Bacon bits are another must: make that process easier by cooking the bacon in the oven on – you guessed it – a sheet pan!

Let’s be honest. The food you eat on Super Bowl Sunday is one of the things that you look forward to most. So whether you smoked your own pork for nachos, make an attempt at making homemade puff pastry for DIY pigs in a blanket, or douse your wings in a lemon-pepper rub, make sure to use a chef-approved sheet pan that will elevate every aspect of your meal.
