After years of research, development, and testing, we’re thrilled to introduce a new line to our cookware collection: CeramiClad™, a first-of-its-kind premium ceramic coated cookware, made proudly in the USA.
While other ceramic brands cut costs by manufacturing their cookware overseas, we wanted to ensure our ceramic was the best possible option out there. This hunt led us to expert craftsmen in Wisconsin, who we trusted to uphold the same ethos as the cookware made using centuries-old methods in France, Germany, and Japan. Read on to learn why this matters—and how it makes for a better piece of cookware.
American-Made Non Stick
Eye-catching though they are, the colorful ceramic options on Instagram tend to sacrifice durability and performance for aesthetics—a trade we could never dream of making. That’s why every product in our new CeramiClad™ line is made using premium materials by best-in-class Wisconsin manufacturers.
Each CeramiClad™ Frying Pan is made using the same 5-Ply stainless clad base as our Stainless Clad and ProCoat Non Stick cookware lines, topped with ceramic coating. The stainless base is incredibly durable and provides excellent heat distribution and retention, while the ceramic coating releases food easily from the surface of the pan. Plus, the pans are abrasion-resistant and oven safe up to 550F.
Another serious advantage of our CeramiClad™ Frying Pans is they’re naturally free of PFAS —a group of chemicals that includes PFOA, a harmful substance found in older coated non stick cookware and other products. (The use of PFOA in non stick cookware was phased out in the US starting in 2003, and was banned outright in 2014.) This makes ceramic a great option for customers looking to transition away from pots and pans made with traditional non stick coatings.
Why Made in the USA Matters
In addition to thoughtfully engineering every piece of cookware we offer, ensuring the best possible cooking experience, we’re also committed to partnering with highly skilled craftspeople around the world.
For our new CeramiClad™ Collection, we’ve chosen to work with a Wisconsin-based manufacturer. Having a factory in the US not only allowed our team to make regular visits to this factory during the initial manufacturing and design process, but also helps us to:
- Maintain strict manufacturing standards and quality control processes.
- Build and maintain customer trust by showing our commitment to ethical labor practices.
- Support local economies, as well as reduce our environmental impact by cutting down on international shipping.
