The curved edges and bottom make it easy to cook, flip the food being cooked and get the fond off with a whisk. This pan is well designed and made. It has a heavy flat curved bottom so it actually stays on the stove and not a lot of crevices so cleaning it is less of a chore. I accidentally burned food on it and it still came off easily.

I’ve used the 5 qr saucier pan once thus far, to make a salmon risotto, which was spectacularly delicious.  I was able to manipulate the sauce in the pan easily, due to rounded bottom of the pan.  Additionally, there was no sticking in the pan.  Looking forward to making my next dish soon.
