## Description

From béchamel to velouté, the Saucier is designed for smooth, fully emulsified sauces. Dishes like risotto and gumbo, which require constant agitation, benefit from the Saucier’s cornerless bottom, which guides the whisk and promotes circulation.

Like the rest of our Stainless Clad Cookware, ours is crafted in Italy from 5 layers of metal for improved heat conduction and distribution. It heats evenly and responds instantly to temperature changes, giving more control when sautéing, deglazing, and reducing. It also cleans up in seconds, as it prevents the hot spots that lead to stuck-on messes. I am an accomplished family/home cook and we love to entertain. I absolutely love this saucier!  There is something so pleasurable about stirring food in this saucier.  It just has a different feel to it than a saucepan.  The 3-quart is a great size for making one or two servings of a meal — I thought it might be too big for me, since I usually cook for just one or two servings, but in using it, I realized it’s better to have a larger saucier because you want there to be room to stir without spilling over.  I’ve now had this for a few months and use it for so much more than I expected.  It’ll last for years and is worth the price!
