## Description

Inspired by old school pizza spots in the North End of Boston -- former home of co-founder Jake Kalick's family business -- our new, limited edition Pizza Plate offers an elegant alternative to serving your pizza straight off the cutting board. Made of strong, oven- and dishwasher-safe ceramic, it makes a safe landing pad for piping hot pies cooked on our Seasoned Carbon Steel Pizza Steel. 

With a diameter of 13", the Pizza Plate is perfectly sized to fit pies cooked on our Pizza Steel—which measures 12.5" in diameter—plus half an inch of wiggle room. Like our other ceramic dishes and serving pieces, the Pizza Plate is dishwasher safe and features a stain-resistant glaze for a durable, low-maintenance serving piece that'll look pristine for years, no matter how messy your meals get.

I love this thing. 
I became aware of made in through some restaurant professional acquaintances of my son who lives in Chicago. We were looking for some knives of my daughter for Christmas. She was looking to upgrade so I asked my son to get some recommendations. Some of his chef friends suggested Made In. We purchased the Japanese collection for my daughter and I've been a Made In fan ever since.
As far as the pizza pan, I love pizza pans but have never found one that I thought I'd have forever...now I do. It obviously is heavy duty. The crust turns out better than any other pan I've used (and that's the point of using a pan like this). Well worth the money.
