Its design combines the utilitarianism of German blades with the precision of Japanese knives. Instead of being cheaply welded together, all of our Knives are full tang and fully forged, meaning they are crafted from a single rod of stainless steel that extends from tip to handle—resulting in sharper, perfectly balanced blades. I reported it missing from delivery on April 4 and didn't hear back. I called Customer Service on April 12 and the lady on the phone was not very helpful or understanding. While we were on the phone, I received an email dated April 4 with instructions. I searched my email folders and it had never received that and I asked her if she just sent it and she said "yes". She didn't tell me she was resending it while we were speaking. She made me feel like an idiot because I didn't have it previously. She was unsympathetic and wanted me to check with my neighbors and the USPS and then call back. She had no help to offer, really, and acted like I was bothering her. Didn't offer to replace the knife or refund my purchase price. Not good customer service, in my opinion and I am a business owner and strive to provide excellent customer service with my clients. I have bought many items from Made In over the years and love them and like the company philosophy and support them.
