Welded by hand in Nebraska, the full stainless exterior resists the scratches and nicks that can lead to rust on coated surfaces, so it holds up season after season. The patent-pending design runs on charcoal or briquettes, and has been refined with considered updates for a better grilling experience from Version 1: a simplified two-level charcoal bed for more intuitive heat control, a fully removable stainless steel grill grate for easier cleaning and storage, and a redesigned drop-in ash drawer that stays securely in place during transport. The Stay Cool™ hollow handles wrapped in silicone make the grill easy to move from yard to camp. This grill was made to expand the way you cook outdoors. HOWEVER, this grill, that weighs 30 lbs, was shipped with another pan I ordered, in a regular box WIHTOUT ANY PACKAGING PROTECTION. So assume a 30lb hunk of stainless steel metal just being throw around a flimsy box. The box came obviously damaged and taped over multiple times to keep it together. It was damaged more during shipping because of this, and was completely unusable. The adjustable firebed grate is not adjustable because the handles have been bent inward on both sides. The handles' track that helps keep it aligned and thus able to adjust is not aligned because the handles have been bent inward, caved into the grill making it stuck. Additionally, the top left side of the grill is bent outward, and the top grill is missing a welded piece that prevents it from coming out of the grill. I showed the brown side and the undamaged side in picture I just sent. Without the welded bolt piece, it makes the top grate come out of the track everytime I open it up--thus presents a safety issue because it is heavy and come swings out at me. Made In refunded my money and I asked if it can be picked up to be shipped back for return, but told me to discard it myself. To discard a 30lb piece of stainless steel I had to drive to the recycling venter myself and dispose of it myself. This entire shopping experience cost me money, and I didn't even get anything out of it.
