Absolutely love it. Color amazing. Skillet large. Inside smooth, not nubby like so many cast iron skillets. Is like cooking with my grandmothers griswald cast iron skillet. Sauce pan with self basting lid has deep sides and cover fits tightly so less evaporation. Need less oil because are non stock. Actually purchased the Dutch oven as to have second one for my two daughter in laws. Will be able to pass one on to each. But realized the benefit of having two after set arrived. One can be in oven while second being used on stove top. They are heavy but that also keeps them in place and not sliding or spinning on glass topped stove. Is a great starter set or for someone who cooks for one. Heat retention is great. Can actually turn off burner and let residual heat complete the cooking or keep warming until rest of meal completed. Would I recommend this set? Absolutely. One word of cation: was packed in one big box- very well packed- but did not consider the total wt of box.
