Details

Founded by sisters Marcela and Tania Medina, Duplo Design is a Guadalajara-based design firm where age-old tools meet modern product design. An homage to the ancestral techniques and artisan craftsmanship Mexico is known for, Duplo is committed to honoring local culinary traditions.

Each Molcajete and Tequilero is carved from volcanic rock sourced just miles away. Unlike traditional three-legged Molcajetes, this one is crafted with a flat base for a contemporary look and feel, and features a cork bottom to prevent the volcanic stone from scratching surfaces. Three basalt Tequileros, the traditional vessel for enjoying tequila or mezcal, sit on a simple but elegant Mexican oak serving tray—perfect for sipping in style. ¡Salud!

I love Made In. With the product, you can tell that there's extreme craftsmanship. That's something that I feel aligns with Horn Barbecue. In order to have great food, you need to have extraordinary tools. Made In offers that, so it's a natural fit.

Even if you’re not a professional chef, having that equipment immediately makes you better. It makes cooking so much easier.

I love the Made Ins pots and pans because they are well made. They are thick, they conduct heat, they’re the right sizes. I love the non stick option for omelets, as well.

We completely fitted the restaurant with Made In equipment and it is just killing it, we haven’t dented a piece, lost a piece, lost a handle yet.
