## Description

The Pollo Plug is made from a single piece of 304 stainless steel with no coating, so there is nothing to flake or wear off into your food. Three legs form a stable tripod base that sits securely inside the cookware you already own, holding a full bird upright without tipping or sliding. The stainless construction is oven safe to 800°F to handle high-heat roasting, and at just 1.6 pounds it is easy to lift in and out. When the meal is done, it is fully dishwasher safe.

We designed the Pollo Plug to roast poultry the way it cooks best — standing up. Elevated above the pan, hot air circulates around the entire bird for even cooking and skin that crisps on every side, while rendered fat drips away instead of pooling underneath. Those drippings fall onto the potatoes, carrots, and onions roasting below, turning one pan into a complete meal. It fits the Made In Cast Iron 10" and 12" Skillet, Braiser, and Dutch Oven, plus the Enameled 11" Skillet, 3.5QT Braiser, and 5.5QT Dutch Oven.

I own pretty much every single piece this company has made...minus some of the newer pots and pans...but every plate, bowl, utensil, knife, glass, cutting board, fish rack, grill box- even the tea pot...and never wrote a review previously. 
This chicken thing is exceptional. I absolutely love it. The eye (hole) up top is great for getting the bird on and off the grill. Tremendous, no more beer cans for me. Those were difficult to get the hot bird off of...with this thing, it slides right off. Absolutely would recommend to anyone who cooks chicken on the grill.
