## Description

Our American-Made Cast Iron is sand-cast at a single American foundry. The Butter Warmer arrives pre-seasoned in our proprietary organic flaxseed oil blend, prized for its smooth polymerization and golden finish. Cast iron's signature heat retention holds butter, ghee, and sauces at an even, gentle temperature long after the pan leaves the burner, and the surface only grows more naturally non-stick with every use.

Designed for the small jobs that deserve their own pan, our Cast Iron Butter Warmer is sized for melting butter, clarifying ghee, blooming garlic and spices, and warming a drizzle of sauce. A long handle carries it from stove to table, while a defined pour spout streams melted butter over popcorn, lobster, or a finished steak without a drip. Safe for gas, electric, induction, oven, and live fire, it's the kind of small workhorse you reach for far more than you'd expect.

## FAQs

### Where is this cast iron made?

All of our cast iron is sand-cast at a single foundry in the United States, then machined, lathed, and buffed to a smooth finish in-house. It's American-made from start to finish.

### Do the pans come pre-seasoned?

Yes. Every piece arrives pre-seasoned in our proprietary organic flaxseed oil blend. Flaxseed oil polymerizes exceptionally smoothly, giving you a golden, even base layer that's ready to cook on from the first use.

### Why is the finish smoother than other cast iron?

Most cast iron retains the rough, pebbly texture of the raw sand-cast surface. Ours is machined, lathed, and buffed after casting, which creates a consistently smooth cooking surface so seasoning bonds evenly and builds up predictably over time.

### Is this cast iron lighter than traditional pans?

Yes. We've lathed the walls to be subtly thinner than the base. That keeps heat concentrated at the cooking surface, where you actually want it, while reducing the overall weight of the pan.

### What cooktops and heat sources are these compatible with?

All of our Seasoned Cast Iron is compatible with gas, electric, induction, and oven use, and are safe for live fire (campfire, grill, open flame).

### How do I care for and maintain the seasoning?

The best way to maintain cast iron is to cook with it regularly, especially with fats. Avoid extended soaking in water or dishwashers. After cooking, wipe clean while still warm, dry thoroughly, and apply a very light coat of oil before storing. The smooth machined surface makes re-seasoning easier than rough-cast alternatives.

## Customer Reviews

### ★★★★★ Cast Iron Butter Warmer

The cast iron butter warmer is really good-looking. I love it. Unfortunately, the small pan is much heavier than I was expecting. I am in my mid 70s.

— Elizabeth B

### ★★★★☆ USA Cast Iron

I already have the 10-inch brazier which is totally awesome. I love the machined internal finish and supporting a made in USA product. However the butter warmer is not machine finished. Still useful, but will use primarily for outdoor BBQ.

— Kiwi Dave

### ★★★★☆ BUTTER WARMER

WARMS A STICK OF BUTTER FAST, AND KEEPS IT WARM TO CLARIFY IT. I HAVE ONE MINER COMPLAINT, IT IS HEAVIER THAN I EXPECTED.

— ROBERT

### ★★★★★ Seasoned Cast Iron Butter Warmer

Perfect “low setting” heat retention to warm butter, heat sauces, and to boil two eggs!!

— VictoriaW

### ★★★★☆ Great little warmer

Beautiful cast iron warmer can handle a lot. Seasoning/surface finish is a bit rougher than I was expecting but it hasn’t been an issue yet

— Kyle
