### ★★★★★ Carbon steel griddle

We love this griddle. Not only is it beautiful on the stove top and/or grill, it is also very functional. Excellent for cooking large quantities of meat or fish. Love it for eggs and hashbrowns (allowing myself a less hot zone when the hashbrowns are crispy). This is absolutely the griddle that I’ve been looking for. Only downside is that it is too wide (just barely by about a half an inch)  to fit into my standard sized oven.

I am so happy with this Griddle. As suggested, first use was with some prime filets - we had previously seasoned the griddle then seasoned the steaks and sprayed with avocado oil prior to placing it on the barbecue. The result: OUTSTANDING flavor, crust on the filet and clean up a breeze. Loving this so far - tonight time for lamb chops on griddle on cue!

After having used the griddle a couple of times, I decided seasoning it would do the surface some favours. The griddle absolutely does not fit in my standard sized oven. I think this would have been a great addition to my kitchen, but since I can't season it to my liking, it's an expensive piece of kit.
