But in my last house, a pop-up fan blocked the handle at the back of the cooktop, so it was not an option. Now that I am in a new house, I was delighted to see that the measurements of this griddle showed a good fit on my range top. So I bought it. And sure enough, it is a perfect fit on my range cooktop and heats nicely across two burners. BUT, the instructions say to season the griddle in a 450 degrees oven before using it. That's when I discovered that the griddle does not fin in my full sized oven!
