## Description

Since the 1600s, the world’s best Plateware has come from Stoke-on-Trent, England, where the local clay and craftsmanship creates uniquely hard-wearing high alumina vitrified china. Prized for its beauty, longevity, and unrivaled chipping resistance, it’s historically been reserved for the hospitality industry—until now.

We’re the first to bring this legacy Plateware to home cooks. Most Plateware is mechanically top glazed, leaving an unfinished “foot” that causes scratching when stacked. We suspend each piece on pins and fully glaze top and bottom for 360° scratch- and chip-resistance. The glazing also makes it oven safe to 580F, so delicate sauces won’t break due to the temperature shock of a cold plate.

These are great plates I didn't know I needed.  I got these on Made-In's factory seconds which are in perfect condition, I was worried the size might be too small however to my delight they are perfect for small size desserts, butter on the table, muffins, cornbread, etc. - using them for something many times a week.

Small size, but great utility at breakfast time, with a smaller footprint on table or desktop.  I use this plate a lot at breakfast time for egg bites and half sandwiches.  Also compliments my other Made In dishes aesthetically for bread and small sized apps. Already have purchased sets of four entree bowls twice and love them so when I received the offer of bread and butter plates that were seconds I thought I would take the chance. 4 were shown in the promotion and it was stated that they were 50% off for $29 plus 10 shipping. About 10 days later a package arrived that felt like it was empty and when opened I found 1 tiny plate! Which when including shipping cost almost $40!!   Upon contacting them they did offer a full refund including shipping so no harm but there was a foul for misrepresenting the offer.
