# Appetizer Plates & Sets | Made In - Made In The perfect way to start your meal, these appetizer plates have no limits. From salads to desserts, this plate is beautifully designed and expertly crafted. Whether for a crostini or cake slice, Appetizer Plates are the perfect canvas for meals of any size. ## Description Since the 1600s, the world’s best Plateware has come from Stoke-on-Trent, England, where the local clay and craftsmanship creates uniquely hard-wearing high alumina vitrified china. Prized for its beauty, longevity, and unrivaled chipping resistance, it’s historically been reserved for the hospitality industry—until now. We’re the first to bring this legacy Plateware to home cooks. Most Plateware is mechanically top glazed, leaving an unfinished “foot” that causes scratching when stacked. We suspend each piece on pins and fully glaze top and bottom for 360° scratch- and chip-resistance. The glazing also makes it oven safe to 580F, so delicate sauces won’t break due to the temperature shock of a cold plate. Discover Dinnerware that’s as beautiful on its thousandth meal as it is on its first. ## Dimensions - Total Length: 8” - Weight: 14 oz ## Dimensions - Total Length: 20.3 cm - Weight: 395 g ## Care - Dishwasher Safe, Freezer Safe, and Microwave Safe - Oven-Safe Up to 580F - Lifetime Warranty ## Shipping, Warranty, and Returns - We offer easy shipping options for the US and EU. I purchased these to round out my set and have a few extra plates for when company comes. You would be hard-pressed to tell why these are seconds as they are virtually indistinguishable from my original plates. Maybe the paint on the edge is a fraction of a millimeter off, but there are no defects that would be identifiable unless you were really scrutinizing these. These plates are individually and well-wrapped in bubble wrap and don't come in the normal Made-in plate box, but given the price and quality, this doesn't matter. I will definitely keep an eye out for any addition offers for factory seconds. — Charles N. ### ★★★★★ The perfect little plates. Perfect little plates. Replaced my correll. They feel heavy duty, high quality, and I hope they last a lifetime. Will be adding more to the collection soon. — B.Jewett ### ★★★★★ Worth it for a slight discount Good plates, no issues with the “factory seconds” quality — Anonymous ### ★★★☆☆ Not Bad But Not Totally Happy With Seconds The flaws in the "seconds" were more noticeable than I expected but were limited to the backside of the plates. Small indents other than from the suspension pins. Debris that had been sprayed over, glaze that did not stick well and separated and what looked like small scuffs/smears in the glaze before hardening. These are not "seconds" that you can't tell the difference in from new. I bought seconds trying to save a little money to see how I liked the style, weight and feel before committing to an entire set of tableware. Made In being a higher end product, I probably should have just paid the little extra for new during a different sale and not bought seconds. — Jeff ### ★★★★★ — Jolenr ### ★★★★★ — Paul Bisson ### ★★★★★ — Mazin Q. --- URL: https://madeincookware.com/products/appetizer-plate-seconds/navy-rim
